GOMAY KALA | Cow Dung Based Natural Art
What is Gomay Kala
Gomay Kala is an initiative of Shri Bansi Gau Dham LLP, working to revive Indian culture through cow dung based natural art.
By transforming cow dung into value-added art, we actively contribute to sustainable development, environment protection and zero-waste practices.
Gomay Kala is not just art —it is a movement to build livelihoods, empower rural communities and create an economy rooted in Gau Sanskriti.
Our Story
The journey of Gomay Kala began in the year 2017 with a very humble start. With just an old mold worth ₹400 and a strong belief in the power of Gau Sanskriti, the first steps of this initiative were taken at home.
In the early days, resources were extremely limited. My mother supported this journey with immense dedication. For nearly three years, she manually prepared cow dung powder for the products using a traditional hand grinder and even a small kitchen mixer jar. This powder became the foundation for many of the early Gomay Kala creations.
Cow dung from indigenous Indian cows was collected from nearby farmers’ homes and brought back using my scooter or car. It was then dried on the rooftop of our house and carefully processed for creating products. The journey was full of experimentation — many products failed, many broke, but through patience and continuous learning the work kept moving forward.
A turning point came on 30 May 2018 when I experienced a deeply inspiring dream connected with Gau Mata. From that moment a new vision emerged for Gomay Kala. It felt as if a divine inspiration had been given — that any idea or design that arises in the mind could be transformed into art using cow dung.
Gradually the work began to grow. By the year 2020, many dignitaries, government officials and institutions who saw these creations encouraged that this knowledge should reach society at large. Inspired by this encouragement, the Gomay Kala Startup Training Program was started so that people from across India could learn this art and build eco-friendly livelihoods.
As this journey continued, it became increasingly clear that Gomay Kala is not only an art form but a powerful model for sustainable development. Through cow dung based innovation we are contributing to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Skill India, Startup India, women empowerment and rural entrepreneurship.
These initiatives also support environmentally responsible production systems that promote zero-carbon emission industries, eco-friendly product manufacturing, pollution reduction and environmental protection. At the same time, they help create employment opportunities in rural areas while contributing to the achievement of global Sustainable Development Goals.
Through Gau Sanskriti, we are exploring a path of development that creates prosperity without destroying nature. This realization led us to adopt our guiding philosophy and tagline:
“Building an Economy through Gau Sanskriti.”
For me personally, Gomay Kala is not merely a profession or enterprise. I believe this knowledge has been blessed by Gau Mata herself and I am only a medium in this journey. Whatever has come through this work is a gift of nature and Gau Sanskriti.
This life is dedicated to serving Gau Sanskriti and sharing its knowledge with society. Among all the strengths that have supported this journey, the greatest has been my mother, whose dedication, blessings and tireless support have made this mission possible.

Our Goals
Our goal through Gomay Kala is to demonstrate how traditional wisdom rooted in Gau Sanskriti can contribute to solving some of the most pressing challenges faced by India and the world today.
By transforming cow dung into meaningful art and eco-friendly products, we promote a sustainable and nature-friendly model of development that supports environmental protection, reduces pollution and encourages responsible use of natural resources.
Through this initiative, we aim to create a system where cultural values, ecological balance and economic growth work together in harmony. Gomay Kala helps convert agricultural waste into valuable resources while encouraging zero-waste practices and low-carbon production systems.
Our vision is to build sustainable livelihoods in rural areas by empowering farmers, youth and women through skill development and entrepreneurship. By promoting cow-based industries and village-level production units, we contribute to strengthening rural economies and generating employment opportunities.
Gomay Kala also aligns with the larger national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Startup India and Skill India by encouraging grassroots innovation and eco-friendly startup models based on local resources.
At the global level, our efforts support the goals of environmental sustainability, climate-conscious production and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals by promoting industries with minimal carbon emissions and environmentally responsible products.
Ultimately, our goal is to revive Gau Sanskriti as a practical model of development that can help build a greener planet, empower communities and contribute to the vision of a prosperous and sustainable world.
